The development is part of the rejuvenation of Shougang Park which is located within Shijingshan, one of the largest urban renewal projects in Beijing. Shougang Park is the former site of a large steel factory which has since been relocated.
The project comprises 19 office buildings and a contiguous basement retail with a total net leasable area of more than 300,000sqm.
The development is masterplanned by SOM architects with detailed concept design by Aedas and Gensler architects. When completed, the development will offer international grade A office space with top sustainability building certifications including China Three Star Green Building Label and LEED.
The development offers great connectivity with immediate road access to the main Chang’an Road thoroughfare and the nearby Gu Cheng metro station, and will have direct access from the basement retail to the future metro station on the M11 line, providing a fully weatherproof travel experience.
The development also features a landscaped 67,000sqm park to serve as a green hub for the community, a first of its kind offering for Beijing office developments.
